Brandon Hamilton

Brandon Hamilton is a digital/multimedia journalist in Houston, TX. Currently, he produces digital content for the Disney-ABC owned station, KTRK. At KTRK, Brandon has covered numerous stories including NCAA Men’s Basketball Final Four, Super Bowl 51, Hurricane Harvey, the Houston Astros’ World Series run and other community stories.

His experience also includes providing live radio coverage of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) basketball tournament in Houston.

In Orlando, Brandon started his career at Central Florida’s home for News, Weather and Traffic FM 96.5/AM580 WDBO as a reporter/web producer. At WDBO, he has covered a wide variety of stories including President Barack Obama’s visit to Orlando and The State of Florida v. Casey Anthony

With the NBA’s Orlando Magic, he hosted numerous live postgame shows, served as the sideline reporter, voiced, edited and produced numerous halftime packages -- including those for the 2012 NBA All-Star Game.

Brandon is a 2010 graduate of the University of Central Florida with a degree in journalism and minor in sociology. He is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and the National Association of Black Journalists.
